Thursday: Neon Indian

This week brings us the San Francisco debut of indie blog darling, Neon Indian. The current project of Alan Palomo (formerly of VEGA and Ghosthustler), Neon Indian effuses a dreamy synth-driven sound that lies somewhere between the dancey bedroom beats of Junior Boys and the introspective electropop of The Postal Service (or their latest rip-off Owl City… not going to link them ‘cause they suck).

Neon Indian’s debut release, Psychic Chasms earned the coveted approval of Pitchfork Media, which gave it “Best New Music” honors.

Neon Indian plays this Thursday (11/19) at The Rickshaw Stop, with support from The Love X Nowhere and Nite Jewel. Tickets are 10 bucks and available via Hacksaw Entertainment here. 18+
